My family has always been involved in ministry, from singing at nursing homes at 3 years old, helping special needs groups, helping in kids clubs, to doing missions. I don’t remember a time in our family that we weren’t involved in some ministry. I have grown to love ministry, and love doing it full time. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior when I was nine. I had been taught the Gospel as soon as I could talk and understand, but I didn’t personally make it my own relationship with God until I was nine years old. I base my salvation on faith in Jesus Christ and that He shed His blood, was buried and rose again. (I Cor. 15, John 3, and Eph. 2) I didn’t deserve salvation, but by grace and mercy I am a child of God. Growing up doing ministry and missions gave me a desire to share the same Good News so that others can have the same hope in Jesus. Each day I grow more and more passionate about sharing the Gospel and I grow to love this area more and more. I see hundreds of kids each week and I love teaching them about Jesus and give them a solid foundation only found in Jesus.
I began CEF when I was sixteen as a summer missionary and I helped run Good News Clubs once or twice a week. My mom asked me when I was 19 if I would consider working with CEF full time. I was currently working at a day care and going to school for a teaching degree, and I prayed to God to make it clear in what I should do. I could feel God leading me into full time ministry and I loved it, but I wanted to make sure this is what God wanted me to do and be fully committed if it was where He led me. He has made it so evident that this is where he wants me to be. I will be going on to my sixth year working for CEF, and I have grown to love children’s ministry even more and feel so blessed that I have the opportunity to do ministry full time. I finish my teaching degree this year from Liberty University and love using it to teach the children in the public schools and on the streets in the summer about Jesus. Thank you for considering supporting me, and your prayers are much appreciated.
